Cayenne S v8 diesel owners

Have you ever driven a Cayenne turbo or turbo s? How much faster did it feel than your v8 diesel? Did you consider a turbo or turbo s before getting the v8 diesel?

I have not owned a Turbo Cayenne, but I have had a few as test drive cars over a few weekends.
I have had 4 x 4.2d Cayennes, still have 2 one Lhd, and one Rhd, done about 50k miles in total.

Whist the petrol turbo is a quicker car, for me the fuel range was a problem on Eu trips, driven using the torque ie below 2k rpm the 4.2d will do late 37-38 MPG on a run.

From I performance perspective I would put the 4.2d at about 8/10s of the Petrol Turbo. Does not feel that it needs any more power.

I've had a Cayenne turbo, and driven a Cayenne diesel S - so the other way round !

Pretty much echo Apolo's comments. Diesel S is about 80% that of the turbo.

Except I'm the opposite - not needing it to do many miles, so looking for a Turbo / S

Thanks for the replies. I am thinking the turbo or turbo s. It will just be a matter of finding one when I am looking!
