think yourself lucky... our local chippy started cutting the fish in half a while ago , but still charge the same price.. cheaper to go to the local pub for fish and chips - at least you get a full fish!

Our chippy seems to think they are trying to get rid of an EU potato mountain, a medium portion of chips is enough for two.

Our local chippy is more than generous with the chips for a few quid. I think its really good, some people say the chips are soggy and floppy? They must be doing something wrong.

A lot of the chips are probably hidden under the fish, don't make him feel bad, he only wanted to post a pic with 'designer' tomato sauce and 'bitty brown bread' to show how cool he is!

Met my OH on Friday lunch (longer lunch hours) and we shared a lunchtime special at the local chippy. 5 cod bites, chips and a can for £3.25. Decent amount of very nice fish, and good chips. We couldn't finish the chips!

Will be going there again.
