My 04 Blobeye wagon with factory fitted PPP and Prodrive P7 alloys refurbished from gold to silver. My first Subaru and got to say I love it! Had it a year now and only covered 4K miles as its only a weekend car. It replaced my Audi S4 Avant 2.7 bi turbo so it took a while to get used to the rawness, the NOISE! and the attention it receives but really into it now.

Had 5 Scoobs and loved them all. The wagons are super cool and lovely to see an unmolested one with PPP too. Keep it well maintained, watch for rust on the rear arches and clonking rear shockers (replace with third party when it happens) and you will have a car that will do you many years good service.
The 2l boxer is a great engine unlike the 2.5l introduced in 2007 that is a POS!

The 2.0l genuine pro-drive cars are rare; make sure your insurance reflects this (as Im finding out). As above, make sure you clean inside of the arches to stop corrosion. Additionally, greasing the rear shocks can help them last and some good proactive maintenance would be to replace the caliper pistons with stainless steel items.

Already missing the burble from mine
A small update...went to take it out for a wee drive last week only to find it had a flat battey. Gave it a jump start with my wife's Mini and dropped it off at my usual garage for a checkover. Turns out it just needed a new battery, no other issues at play. Still don't have more photos but will get some during xmas holidays..
Well I never sold it in the end, had a few offers but decided to keep a hold of it and stick it in the garage in the new house. Since last update it’s had a new turbo as the old one started making a weird noise and lost boost, all sorted now. A while after that the exhaust sounded a little rough which turned out to be corrosion on the centre silencer so that was whipped out and replaced with a Scorpion straight through centre section with the occasional mild pop. At a recent service I stuck in a new lifetime foam Ramair panel filter instead of a new paper filter, sounds a wee bit nicer boost. Still done under 89k so think I’ll keep it another while yet and will defo dry to get some decent photos when time permits! Bonus Escort wee spied on a trip to Skipton in the summer!!
