Red wine stain

Had half a bottle poured over me last night, accident not because I was a tit. How do I get the stain out of my shirt?

Whit wine.

Sounds a bit late for white wine. Vanish, then wash.

Hydrogen peroxide. The diluted stuff. I've got a curry stain out of a white shirt with it.

Is it a white shirt? What fabric? Peroxide is effectively a bleach, good for getting whites white again but will discolour a dyed fabric. Test on an unobtrusive area first. Pre treat with vanish and biological wash has worked for me in the past but always immediately after spill.

Try Ammonia.

I know vodka's good for getting pen marks out of clothing but not sure if it'll work on red wine.
