My son loves "racing" his matchbox / hot wheels cars by basically pushing them across the floor. I think he's too young for scalextric and similar. Is there any system that allows matchbox style cars to race? Hot wheels tracks look like they are setup to allow a single car to zoom round a circuit so don't fit the bill. Any pre-Christmas ideas gratefully received.

You can't kid us like that, we all know that your wife has banned you from having a scalectrix, just admit you'd like the next best thing and we'll help

Scalextric

That's one common mis-spelling/mis-pronunciation that boils my piss.

When I were a lad we had a Matchbox track which had two lanes including a banked section and loop-the-loops, with a flagged finish line. Do Hot Wheels have something similar, it used to keep me and my brother entertained for days.

cjs racing.

Did you get moaned at for tightening the clamp to hard and denting the table? or after car racing came sword fighting with the track??

My 4 year old loves his hot wheels tracks.

You could also consider a cheap 1:64 scale battery powered set.

My 3yr old lad is getting this for Christmas.

Real FX Slotless Racing https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00U9O68DK/ref=cm_sw_r...

From what I can gather the cars will actually steer themselves round the track so he can just press the controller and watch his go and round, probably. I bought at that price then It was 50% off in the recent sales so I bought another and got the more expensive one refunded. You've gotta love Amazon.
