What next ? (Golf GTI mk6) (advice!)

Hi,

I currently own a mk6 Golf GTI and havent had it long (less than 1 year) I previously had a Twingo 133 and then Clio 200 which i loved but for the price of the golf i dont feel it has much character in comparison!

Im looking to get another car i can love like i did with the 200 and enjoy owning.

Ive looked at the everything from 135i 235i Focus Rs to Caymans, ideally it would be sub 20k and not too old with something about it.

What about an E92 M3 or even a E60 M5?

Probably cannot get a decent spec / milage M3 in budget and M5 is a little to big for myself! Commute is about 15 miles so both viable though thanks.

I went to see a few Megane 265's before getting the golf, similar to the Clio inside and hard to find one with recaros cup pack etc at the moment. May test drive one if I can find the right one
