2006 997 hardtop

Hi,
Just purchased a 997 c4s from Porsche and i am looking for a hard top for it(i have no garage) for
the winter,been on ebay and there doesn't seem to be much about.

Maybe there is a garage nearby you could rent?

I bought my 997 cab 6 weeks ago and after the storms last week, I hastily cleared out the garage and it's now carefully parked among the lawnmower and bikes... not soon enough to prevent the carpets at the bottom of the doors getting drenched tho'. I'd have thought hard tops would be like gold-dust, bearing in mind the number of cabs there are around.

If the bottom of the doorcards are getting wet then that is often a tell tale sign that the door membranes have perished.

Thanks, EDC. I've been meaning to look into the problem, but I'll make sure that's the first thing I'll ask the garage to check. Sadly, I've also got a Vauxhall Corsa which has a small pool of water in the rear footwell - what are the chances of that being the same issue?
