A lad I'm currently teaching, told me a few weeks back that he's got a bike race meeting set up at Snetterton,

So after a bit of encouragement, a few phone calls, and some funding from the Royal Air Force Motor Sports Association...he's on his way.

Started from last place on the grid and won all 4 races.

Well done to him, and of course to Team Go Star Racing

Watch this kid, I think he could be special.

Yeah, good on the bloke. I didn't see the races, but I certainly heard them. I'm racing in the same club so I'll be at every meeting he's at.

If you go to www.mylaps.com you can check his lap times out. This is updated live on race day so you can check what's going on from afar. I think their site is being updated this afternoon though. Doh!

Sorry to raise this again,

This weekend (2nd&3rd Apr), at Lydden Hill, he got a 1st, 2nd & 3rd...sadly the last race was cancelled as one of the riders was killed.

This kid is good...entered 7 races, and has finished on the podium in all 7, out of a field of 40.

Apparantly he was also within 0.04 of the lap record., which has been held for 5 years by Shane Byrne !!!

I spoke to him today and he's been invited to a test session by Ten Kate Honda.

This boy could be big time.

Great riding, I wanted my Son to 'do' the rookie 600 class but he opted for the Forza Extreme. His doing OK achieving mid ranking. Another skilled rider is in his race group, Steve Blackwell also having wins to his name with 2nd and 3rd and a fourth after starting from back of grid.

RIP the rider who lost his life on Sunday, its the inherent risk but is of course sickening.
