I know it's not quite the same role, but I wonder if it's connected to Ian Minnards leaving ?

He moved to Dyson not long ago

Why a result ? I have no reason to have an opinion one way or the other on him

It does look like this is to replace IM, from seeing some subsequent reports

I am looking forward to the Dyson electric car.

Instead of wheels, it will have spherical balls, most of the workings will be visible through clear plastic, it will cost three times more than any other, and the buyers will love it.

After I recently heard that there is a huge difference, between the (few) outdoor charging points and the slow speed of charging using domestic electricity sockets, the practicality of electric cars appears problematic.
