Im looking for some advice please.
I'm thinking of upgrading my old small kenwood mixer for one with a larger capacity.
I also use a food processor for chopping, smoothing soups etc.
I'd love to combine the two, is there such a machine?
If there is do you have any recommendations please.
I don't want to spend mega money.
Thank you in advance.

My Magimix 4200 seems tougher than the Kenwood it replaced. It had more accessories included than I know what to do with.

Thank you I'll have a look at that one.

My wife loves her kitchen Aid more than me, it may be all about the brand / look but I am like that with cars so fair play. Does all the baking, bread and good mashed potatoes.

We have a Nutri Bullet for soups n stuff.

I have a Kenwood Chef. Its a big heavy beast which is best left on the worktop if space permits. Sadly I have to keep mine in the cupboard and its a heavy lump to get out/put away. But its a fabulous machine.

I'd certainly go for one of the Magimix range, our 3200 is excellent.

My wife has just collected a magimix 4200xl - she seems very happy with it so far.

I have the Magimix 4200, it really is all the blender you could ever need. Very robust too

I've just spent the last month looking for one for the Mrs, mother has a premier chef and sister a K-mix, I really wanted to get a kitchen aid as there's some great deals to be had but after reading multiple online reviews and speaking to a few shops I went with the Kenwood premier chef KMC577 (they have an outlet store at the factory) it came with a blender and mincer which is handy and having previously made bread with a premier chef I can't fault the guality.

I disagree, they have a weedy nylon spindle that strips itself if it does any hard work.

You're not supposed to mix cement with it... smile

It's a sacrificial part, for those who know what that means.

Yes it is, but I was responding to the claim that it is robust. No it isn't.
