That's cheating RL

Actually, it's been one of my better week's of Cerb ownership, I've been to Fakenham & back today 24mpg over 380 miles, economical motoring or what.

Best part, the sun came out & my dodgy air con started working properly.

The works Transit van, that my Dad wrote off yesterday, is a different story though.

Nice bit of sun out there, might even treat the beast to a wash.

Hi Simon

First problem, is getting out of my road, I work by the Hen & chickens a one mile journey to work with 8 speed humps, none of which, the car likes going over. I hav'nt got the patience & end up going through Blackheath.

I've had lots of niggles in it, but the only serious probs have been a clutch (AA parts & labour paid for it) & an attempted car jacking down by the Blues ground (bad luck, wrong place, wrong time, a near by BMW got jacked, so don't let that put you off)

Apart from that it's been quite enjoyable, everyone seems to like them & you've a good Indie at Cradley Heath (Horizon Motorsport) or Dom's a good bloke at Power in Coventry.

I started monitoring prices about three months before I bought it, I think it helps control the excitement

Good luck when you come to find one, Russell.

Hi Russell wanted one ever since I saw that famous Top Gear clip when it wiped the floor with all the other supercars. Been watching prices for a couple of months already and as I will be spending around £30k I'm hoping to get a 4.5 possibly a Red Rose about 2.5 to 3 years old the type of car that's about £35 at the mo. There's what looks like a nice one in Stratford advertised on here for £36k which has dropped from £38k over the last few weeks. Also a chap named Ben was advertising his 4.5 Red Rose for £31k but his advert has disappeared, looked nice and had ohlins suspension all round and AP brakes. You can see it at www.evotrade.co.uk/tvr/ These next 3 months will seem like years.

Speak again....Simon
