60,000 miler Tuscan
Discussion
On Autotrader... know I've seen this one up for sale before (remember the wheels):
http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/CARS_popup.asp?modelexact=1&id=200446171534241
RAC says...
Colour: Multi-colour (Colour doesn't quite match the ad, mind)
Number of previous owners: 3
Last owner change: 11 July 2003
Anyway, would love to know how reliable this car's been as that's about the highest mileage one I've seen (know there's an Arena Red one with 45,000+ miles on it, and I think a "desert moondust" one with particularly high miles, too). Anyone fancy phoning up and seeing how many rebuilds it's been through?

I saw that car a few months ago in Cranham , its opposite the Underground depot where I have a project running. It was a cat c or d (can remember which) but had been rebuit by the car sales body man, to a very high standard (IMHO) and has not had an engine rebuild (according to the seller)

I know a guy who has recently sold his Tuscan with 55000 miles on the clock (he actually traded it for a T350).
He is a regular track day enthusiast, and used the car on a daily basis.
The car was Y reg and only ever had one engine rebuild which was after only a couple of thousand miles.
Listening to him talk, you wouldn't ever believe that there were problems with the SP6.
His was 'desert moondust' (i think) certainly a sort of gold colour. Perhaps the one mentioned above?
