993 cabriolet recall

Any cab owners or roof experts out there??

Booking the 993 cab in to Brooklands OPC they said that the roof locking mechanism recall has never been done,

My question is whether this could have caused the annoying and seemingly unsolvable problem I have with my roof locking mechanism! It catches on one side and needs a punch or the motor drags the roof to one side (and no doubt has warped it a bit). Reason I ask is because OPC said it was probably unrelated.

...sorry no - but O/T interesting that the numbers mentioned in the proper recall - 806 - doesn't seem to match the production figures given by PCGB, which are always lower.
