Customs and Excise lose court case with Hoverspeed

I'm quite pleased about this. As a frequent traveller between England and France I have been harassed by HMCE on many occasions. My barrister gave me the High court judgment and after going through it the major changes to come into action are as follows :

HMCE officers must have previous information and reasonable grounds to suspect that you are transporting EU Duty paid goods into britain for commercial purposes before they are even allowed to stop you.

To seize goods or vehicles they must have undisputable EVIDENCE that said goods are for a commercial purpose.

Hurrah for booze cruisers !!!!!!!

Yeah and I think its about time we stopped persecuting the booze and fag trip public because of it. I don't give a shit what price drugs are or how much is on the street cos i don't buy em. I am sick of nanny state and this drugs crap. Give the bloody stuff away on the state for all I care. The best way to deal with this drugs nonsense is to take the market away from the criminals and then publicise the problems caused. If no-one had to steal cos they needed a fix then the whole problem would be put into perspective.
