Can a Westfield (or other se7en) be towed using an A Frame ? (or will the rear end scape on the floor ?)

Don't see why not. However, other than the convenience, one of the benefits of trailering is to be able to recover your car should you bend it. Something you can't do with an A-frame. Also if you're rubber is illegal on the car being towed you would also be breaking the law.

Not cheap, but if you are wanting a trailer that will fit in a single garage then you are pretty much stuck with a Brian James Minno. Woodford trailers do a very similar trailer for a little bit less also.

Sadly, I doubt even a small trailer would fit in my 2nd garage (one of the reasons for chosing a se7en). A Westfield should fit in my garage with only 2 foot to spare, end to end (and that 2 foot is needed to be able to open the washing machine door and fridge door, which are at one end of the garage, and the reason for it's foreshortened state).

Paradoxically the other garage is huge, much bigger than a single garage, and would easily fit the 308 and a dolly.

The advantage of a dolly, whilst not perfect, would be
a) the towing car can fit a lot more stuff in, e.g. spare wheels with good tyres on (or slicks for when you get to the track), tools, fuel, food etc
b) if the thing goes bang mechanically it can still get home

But, like you say, if totally stuffed into a wall then .... well .... you're stuffed :-)

A dolly must mean the front wheels are higher than the rears .... just wondering if the rear of the car would scrape on the floor or not ....

So maybe join the AA and push it to the circuit exit and 'break down'

Whoever accompanies you to the circuit can carry all the spare crap (i.e. me or your Mrs etc.).
