Out of 38 cars the Team LNT cars qualified 31st and 32nd.

I think it is more helpful to say that they were 10th and 11th out of 18 GT2 cars. The Tomlinson/Hughes/Kane car was just 1/1000 sec behind the 9th placed Saleen.

You can't compare the different classifications. Both T400s qualified in front of an LMP2 car but that says nothing about its competitiveness. Also, the race is 12 hours and grid slots are of little importance.

The telling factor might well be the weather. The best of luck to LNT.

I noticed they were very fast in the wet too . Best of luck to the team, really must go see this event one year myself.

reading team LNT reports of their week in sebring, they hadn't actually gone for a time in terms of outright pace and lawrence tomlinson was saying the Tivs are about 2 seconds quicker this year, going along from that i would say that theoretically they are capable of a 2:06 at least which would put them high up in the class!

All but an hour or so is being broadcast live on MotorsTV and there's a re-run with edited highlights on Tuesday.

Plus the rugby, oh, and the F1 GP. There's football on Sky also. Ah well, another full weekend.

Le Mans will be shown as a 30' programme from qualifying + a 2 hours review.

after 1 1/2hr running:

#40 johnny kane driving in 8th position in GT2 best lap of 2:09.373

#41 richard dean driving in 11th position in GT2 best lap of 2:10.363

running well so far

How bad is the coverage on Motors TV!!??
Had to switch the sound off,annoying commentator,pictures and sound out of sync.Very very poor and amateurish

The places at 3 hrs:

#41, 8th in GT2, 22nd overall
#40, 11th in class, 28th overall.

The #40 car was up to 7th in class, 21st o/a up to a few minutes ago. Don't know what's happened.

Been watching the England/Scotland match. The commentary is a vast improvement over Sebring's.

Too right about the amateur voiceover on Motors.tv...

I dont know, but I get this feeling its a lot more biased with the front runners and not much interest in the others...

#40 shown out and running, way down though

#41, 7th in class, 20th overall, but lapping a bit off their best at the moment.

#40, 13th and 32nd. Has just spent 45 mins in the pits. Out and running now but not too fast. Down in the 2.14s after a best of 2.08.

ok just found out! #40 ran over a curb and broke a rear rose joint which had to be replaced (obviously) don't expect too much of fast lapping from lawrence tomlinson in the #40 at the moment apparently he has flu! consistency is the key im sure let Kane and Hughes do the fast lappery

More problems for the #40. been in the pits for 7 minutes.

#41 going well in 19th overall, 6th in class, but is about to be overtaken by the GT1 Viper.

Viper now a lap down on the #41 T400 after 50 second pit stop.

the #40 speed 6 engine is running as a speed 5 at the moment unfortunately but on a better note the the #41 is about to take 5th in GT2

after 6hrs and 12minutes the #41's speed6 has let go and is only running on three cylinders after running brilliantly in 5th place it is seemingly retired

number 40 is back out again

6.5 hrs in the #41 seems to be suffering serious problems. The commentator reckons it's terminal. It was running 6th in class at the time.
