Looked at a full spec YM M4 with all options incl. Comp pack etc. deal is good and I'm deciding whether to go ahead or wait for the facelift next year. Do any of PH faithfull have any info as a usual search gives v limited results with only talk of chin spoiler and headlight tweaks.

Is the facelift after Apr2017? If so then the much higher taxes will come into play and worth thinking about.

But is the tax changes really that huge on an M4?

Surely makes sense to get the LCI model?

Better residual plus likely higher standard kit to offset additional tax?

If any car's RRP is over £40,000 then yes, it makes quite a difference.

£1200 first year rate, £140 per year there after plus a £310 supplement for the first 5 years.

I live abroad so no difference for me as tax is ~ 200GBP per year .
I'm waiting for the trade in offer and then decide but I'd be unhappy that I didn't wait 6 months if the face lift is significant.
