Amazingly no.....this is a 25 mile m6 trip, gave it some full throttle moments over about 7 miles on country lanes including throttle blips and it dropped to 21, it got better since I had it, wondering if it's linked to being stood previously.

You're not using it right.

Here's a nice instructional picture from the halls of PH.

I will be driving a DB9 from Plymouth to London today so will try and gauge the MPG as a marker bassoon on Motorway and A roads.

Be interested to see how the Plymouth trip goes

I was bl genuinely cruising at 70 to 75 on the motorway....no fix I swear!

Performance is good too, it has had new coils and plugs recently but other than that standard.

JDC,

I can get 24mpg on a motorway run. 18mpg going back and forth to work and less if I try harder.

That's about the same as mine!

I have the quicksilver backbox though, which makes me keep holding lower gears for the noise wobble

Yes, maximising back pops, burbles and crackles does seem to have a very negative effect on fuel economy!!

It went quite well... Plymouth to London was 337 miles and I averaged 26.2 mpg which included approx 2.5 hours motorway driving at a relaxed 70, a few bursts of speed out of boredom, 20 mins of fairly solid traffic near Reading and some slow urban driving near Heathrow as I got home. Interestingly before I got stumped in local rush hour at 6:30pm the average omg was 26.8 mpg which is pretty damn good from a V12 if you ask me. I think I used up circa £30-35 in fuel.

That's great mate....they are large capacity engines which absorb fuel when pushed....bit that's impressively light on fuel when cruising....I intend to go to Honfluer in 2017 in mine so it helps to get better economy on a long run
