Gents,

Hopefully someone on here will be able to point me in the right direction.

Currently looking at setting up a small web shop (Small - as in literally offering 3 service packages) which will exist as a page on my company site.

What I need is a plug in where users can upload files, create a user account (or sign in to an existing one) and then make an upfront payment. The files are sent to the company inbox, the money goes into the company account and we start work.

Its nothing ground breaking - I have seen the same on image photo printing websites etc, so I was wondering if someone had already created some tidy WP plugin that I can buy and install on the site that does all of this without much messing around. Or am I asking for the moon on a stick?

Looking forward to the input.

Thanks

Have a look at "woocommerce upload my file" plugin. I have the same need for this however my project hasn't quite started yet so I cannot vouch for it in anger.

Yes, most Wordpress online shop solutions will have a plugin for just this.

As well, Ecwid offer this; not sure which packages... but Ecwid is growing and growing and you may find that of some use: www.ecwid.com - with Ecwid, you can embed the store in any website / in the case of Wordpress, it will take on your design colours automatically so you have a seamless store with little effort.

Thanks for the suggestions - I have Woocommerce bundled with the theme package so thats a good start if I just need to buy the additional plug in to support the file upload.

However the Ecwid offering also looks pretty good and tempted to go that route. I like the fact that its totally contained and offers more in the way of customisation so I can change the aesthetics to fit with my site design. Going to sign up for the free service and get a feel for it before going for one of the managed packages.

Thanks!

Yes, the Ecwid platform is great; I have one store embeded on 5 different Wordpress sites; and the store uses a chameleon theme to blend with each of them.

It can be a little confusing at first; but worth seeing through. Install Ecwid through the normal Wordpress plugin install procuedure - and have a play.
