Yes,,,,, I realise this may have been done too death, but im after a bit of advice regarding some 17" wheels.
Im looking at getting a set of the Team Dynamics Prorace 1.2,s for my Chimaera.

Those of you that have them fitted what do you find is the best size to get.
IE 7" fronts and 8" rears, OR 7" all round.? Etc Etc...
Also what offset / et,s are correct.
Bearing in mind the tyres will be a track type tyre either the Yokohama,s or Toyo 888R,s and as such will have a slightly wider profile than the road tyre.
I don't want to get fitment/rubbing issues.
Thanks.

The Original set up was 15x7xET25 Front and 16x7.5xET32 rear as far as I remember.

I have a track set of Compomotives MO5s at 17x7.5xET37 all round and use a rear spacer of 4mm and a front spacer of 12mm to get the ET close enough. Fronts are 215/45/17 rears 235/45/17 with no issues.Your welcome to try them if your Midlands based. Well your welcome to try them wherever your based but it will be a long drive!

The pro race 1.2 are about the best wheels for VFM. I have 17's on my griff. 7" front and 8.5". rear with 225 45 17 front and 255 40 17 rear. In R888's. They are strong and pretty light. The R888 tyre weighs ALOT more than a road tyre but when you swap form the standard Estorils with say R1R tyres to pro race 1.2 with R888's the weight per corner remains the same. Can't remember the offsets though - sorry.

I bought Silverstone SP12s. Pro Race 1.2s without the writing round the rim.
17 x 7 fronts and 18 x 8 rears, I believe. Correct offsets.
I used 215/45 17 and 235/40 18 tyres on them with no problem once I got the ride height correct.
