Used my phone as normal earlier today without any problem and now there are two issues:

1) It won't automatically connect up when I turn on Bluetooth - I have to manually connect it up.
2) When it is connected I can hear the person I've called, but they cannot hear me. Also, I can see a small icon showing a line through a speaker as if it is on 'mute'.

I don't know if there is a fault or I have accidentally changing a setting on my phone (iPhone 5S) or need to change a setting on the head unit. I'm sure it is something small but I can't get it to work properly.

What have I done?

Try deleting it and repairing.

I'd firstly do the above and delete the car from your phone, then try an RNSE reset:

...which magically fixes all manner of ills.

Then start again. Not impossible the microphone has failed but the above is free and a microphone is not.

Bizarrely it was fine this morning so I don't know what happened yesterday.

Thanks for the tips/replies though.
