lovely weather, 5 hours of just driving around with the roof off, sun shining, everyone happy. I cannot believe the number of people shouting how nice the car was! even pulled up next to a fire engine at a traffic lights for them to open the windows for a gander, must be the matching colours! Didn't really want to come home but someone has to clean the house! I wish rooster wasn't going for his MOT tomorrow because I'm going to miss all this gorgeous weather!

I second that - and you beat me to this post. i too was off today, and was out blasting down lane after lane. Sun and the sound of a TVR - xtc. just gonna wash those spiders down, and then back out i go for an evening blat.

I have to go and sort the paintwork, downside of blatting around was a stone getting thrown up by a passing car and leaving a big divit in the drivers door

Exactly where mine is and will be for the next week, if you see a blue Chim (Scot) in there then be thinking of me whilst your hooning about with the roof down.
Saw yours on the ramp when mine went in, lovely colour...

By all means have a look, will be there myself for a few minutes as I need to swap my tax disc over (change of plate). Have been told the force of the knock has brocken my immobiliser (to be sent off and repaired - 1-2 weeks) also, led to a crack in my passenger side manifold and put the tracking out - they'ce still got some more checking to do so still waiting a final outcome. Manifold was fine when it went in for its service and they say the crack is very recent and could easily have been caused by such a large shock to that side.
Thanks for all your help by the way Gill....

I know I stand alone, but I dont like convertibles, and I cant think of a worse car to have an open top than TVR. Thinking along the lines of the amount of people who shout out "Nice Car" (I got around 10 such shouts, cheers or suchlike yesterday, not to mention the usual 250+ looks and people turning around to watch) The tin top is my saviour, protector from the elements and security bubble

Also helps protect my mellon from possible projectile attacks (set off three alarms yesterday)

nah for a sunny day you cant beat roof off, wind in your hair (if you other half eats alot of beans). Bob cerbs are the dogs, but you cant top up your SA tan inside your tin top..... its the one of the things that has stopped me changing to a cerb this summer.

and you had a V8S which was a soft top so how can you say you dont like them. Your biased now cerbie boy

At the time of owning the V8S, it was no secret that I didnt like convertibles, the only times the roof came off are when other people did it for me (when I wasnt looking)
