Not on here I hasten to add!

I've got to buy for a fella I don't know too well. Nice enough guy.

Know he likes music-y stuff and climbing but don't know enough about either or his stage in either to confidently buy something.

Budget is £50.

Was thinking Leatherman but suspect he's got one already.

Any suggestions please?!

Check his Facebook for any likes he might have band wise. Buy him box set DVDs of bands he likes in concert. Subscription to a music streaming service?

Yeah fook me 50 quid !

Actually the amount makes it harder whereas a tenner means you can get something like a couple of mags, one being top shelf obviously !

£50 for secret satan!

That's more than I spend on people I actually know and like!

No way I'd be participating.

Thought the usual was £5 or £10.....

He doesn't seem to do Facebook - he has a 'joint' account with his wife but she's usually on it!

And yes, £50 budget.

Break the "rules" and ask him? "Hey Dave, you know this daft secret Santa thing? well given we are both adults and not dribbling idiots, what would you like? Just act surprised when you open it, ok?"

Do this, Secret Santa is made up by women with too much time. Bypass the secret bit and you're both sorted.

(£50? WTF?)

Here's how you deal with secret Santa.
"We're doing Secret Santa this year"
"Leave me out of it"

Simple.

You're all miserable buggers hehe

By agreeing to this, it means not having to fk about with lots of presents for family - the budget is £50 as it's within the family...but trust me to draw the short straw!

So, any suggestions?!
