What's the joke?

Firstly I'll start with saying I don't mind a good bit of banter between the different owners of other models etc. But I've picked up on the fact that they like picking on us for having our roofs on. How did this start and where did it come from? Just wondered if there was any history behind this?

I have no idea but when I offered "hand made Chimaera roof panel stowage bags" for sale I had many emails asking "what's it for, why would I need one of those"?

I've been an owner for 14 years and in that time it has become blatantly clear to me that it is simply wrong. It if far more common to see Griffs with roofs on than Chims. In the past I've countered it with pictures, just google 'griff growl', you'll see the truth there

Well..............Mine is on 90% of the time as I can't be arsed to faff around stowing the roof panel.

Also, it's faster with the roof on!

With any car that the roof can be taken off you get grief if the car is driven with the roof on in my experience.
