Buying a second hand car without seeing it is probably the worst thing you could do. However when you are dealing with a company that has the reputation that Str8six has and sells with "all the 12s" (MOT, road tax and wear and tear guarantee) then its not such a bad thing.
Ive been in contact with them since early May, waiting patiently on a tuscan being given the str8six treatment. I was told it would take a while as the MD himself was rebuilding the engine and I was more than happy to wait.
And I am delighted with the car. It is immaculate inside and out.
Customer follow up has been great. I just knew by chatting to them that they worked very much like myself and took great pride in the business. The photos and video sent to me did not do the tuscan justice - I imagined some wear and tear inside but its immaculate.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I recognise that car... building the engine takes a day or two. That one took a while as there was a legal dispute with the previous owner. It probably has no wear inside as the last owner had it retrimmed.

If that is the car I think it is, it looks lovely in the pic and in the flesh.

The warranty is fully covered by Hexham Horseless Carriages which is closer to me. I am trialing in a new complete breakdown cover by AA - AA pick up car and take it to a garage of your choice and give you a car while it's away and then bring the car back when it's been fixed. So should all be good.

Very helpful biggrin

Mine can look like that in certain lights but is actually Mango orange. Ferrari Gallio Fly seems the most popular yellow for Tuscans..

The colour is camel yellow. Seems to have been that colour since 2004 at least according to the paperwork I have. And up here west coast of Scotland (where TVRs are few and far) you would imagine by people's faces that I'm driving an alien space ship #priceless.

Was talking about that car at the weekend. I too have seen it in the flesh and it is definitely yellow.

Hope you get to enjoy it.

Lovely car.

I bought a Camel yellow cerbera in February from Str8Six and they were a pleasure to deal with.

Up in aberdeen there is another camel yellow tuscan and have a great pic of them side by side.

Its a stunning colour.

i cannot however find any touch up paint for stonechips from anywhere. If anyone knows where to get from it would be appreciated.

I thought (?) that someone said that Surface & Design in Blackpool did touch up paints. May be wrong though.
