sharing a tv signal round

Closest thing you get is something like this:

You can't send an actual TV signal over mains wiring, it's very weak and prone to interference so therefore need to go down coax cable to wherever it will get demodulated e.g. TV, set top box, digital TV recorder etc.
To distribute it in such a manner you would have to demodulate it first then send the demodulated signal to whatever devices want it. You can get wireless video senders that can send composite video, think there's even devices to wirelessly extend HDMI so HD signals.
Sending everything by Ethernet is the future though and then you can mix wired and wireless.
