I'm a huge 40K nerd, what a let down this is. Technical issues aside, I just didn't get the feeling I was an elite super-human in mankind's most advanced personal powered armour...

Really disappointed to hear this. I'm a 40k fan too and was looking forward to this but reviews haven't been great. I'm not really sure why people find it so hard to make a decent shooter given that the background material basically serves it up on a plate and yet somehow the developers still manage to score an own goal time and again.

Some of my mates have been playing it since it came out, and are enjoying it.

However from reading around, it seems a patch will be required to make the game what it should have been in the first place.

Was really, really excited about this. Gutted to hear it's fallen short of what it could have been. Back to Space Marine then (and wishing it would be xbox one back-compatible in 2017).

Still the best w40k shooter experience to date, just a shame they haven't released an updated version for the current gen consoles.

Eternal Crusade is supposed to be coming out on Xbox One and PS4 at some point next year which is sort of like an updated version of Space Marine.

I'm loving it tbh

If you have an imagination, play with the lights off/hedphones on and allow yourself to get immersed it's top notch!

Running on max and not one single technical issue so far...
