I spotted a rather pretty 60s 2-door GT in the background of this photo of a Lincoln Continental. I've searched for images of the white car itself to no avail. It looks very much like a Ferrari 250GTE, except it doesn't have wing vents and the wheelarch is too close to the A-pillar. The steel wheels with hubcaps also suggest a cheaper car. It's not an Iso Rivolta or a Fiat 124, nor is it a Glas BMW, or anything BMC/Leyland, Rootes, Ford or GM that I can think of. Any clues?

Looks like a Simca I remember but I can't find any pictures to check.
