A link to one of my runs at Santa Pod last Sunday. Once the link is open you need to click on Fiat v 200SX Day, then March 2005, then SM V Cyclone TVR. The 200SX in the video was running about 300bhp.

let's hope we can get even more after the remap on tuesday .. then you'll be wanting full throttle upshift n traction control .. maybe nitrous, sticky tyres .. lol!
Cheers Joolz!
Looking forward to the Emerald remap on Tuesday....and if you want to throw in nitrous, traction control and some sticky tyres as part of the package then go for it

I'm suprised no'one has noticed the fact that the guy in the clip mentions a 12.70 run, but the clock actually shows 11.70.
Thought I saw that too, but dismissed it as the previous time not cleared down yet, if so a pretty impressive time for a tweaked cerb let alone a standard one
. Having just looked at it again its definitely 12.7secs @ 112mph. Managed a 13.7 @110 on a non sticky surface airfield run last year in the S so 12.7 is more than achieveable in a cerb.

Very dependent on the ambient temperature and the state of your rear tyres - found it really hard to get sub 13 on a really cold day. Make sure you do a nice 2nd gear burnout to warm the tyres up first
Ah well - definitely something to try in your Cerbie, but track days are infinitely more entertaining after that IMHO.
Ah well - definitely something to try in your Cerbie, but track days are infinitely more entertaining after that IMHO.It was bitterly cold on that Sunday morning, but I was more than happy with the times I achieved, plus the fact that I did seven runs and seven wins, although most of the opposition were easy meat.
Now that my car has had a proper Emerald remap via Joospeed and produced a few more bhp it will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.
I haven't done a track day and TBH I had no intention of doing a 1/4 mile run, but some friends wanted to see what the Cerb could do, so I went for it and enjoyed it, it's quite addictive!!! I am sure track days are just as much fun also.
