Linking Naim Muso QB
Discussion
OMG, please help!
I have just cheekily opened my Christmas pressie, a second QB, well I knew it was coming so its hardly a surprise but I now have two QB in different places in the dining room unoriginally called DL and DR and although both play music separately but one at a time i.e. one is on the other is silent or vice versa they don't link and complement each other.
Perhaps I have dreamt that I could link them as I am a bit of a tech numpty but no matter what I do on the Naim app I can one or the other playing but not both simultaneously...... arghh, its driving me #*^+~># mad.
Can someone give me some advise please?
Both are linked to blueteeth, firmware has been updated so they are the same version, in Bluetooth menu either both are connected or disconnected but there is now clear lead which is what I would expect.....
In the Naim app both are showing up.
Any help gratefully received please.
Thanks in anticipation

Hi Castex
I posted in a red wine induced frustrated state but it is a nice problem to have really, sorry it does read a bit smug which isn't nice.
Happy Christmas to you too.

Your post didn't come across as smug in the slightest. My post to be taken at face value - I love Naim kit and own some ancient examples. Having had a go of a QB they're the best at what they do (bigger Muso notwithstanding). Sorry I can't help with your question - try phoning Naim as they're very helpful.
Enjoy your pressie!

If you want to play the same track on both then the multi room function should work.
By the lower volume slider on the App, there is a icon with 4 squres.
Tap that and the rooms should show up and from there you can use the app as a master volume that controls both at the same time or adjust each.
Both Musos must be on the same network.

I have sorted this, whooohoo.
Within the Naim App and within the input settings you have to enable multi room, this is a drop down on the little cog top right. You have to do both units and make sure both units show in rooms window.
Then before starting any music tap the bottom bar this then brings up the magic four tiles I couldn't find anywhere, then go to multiroom then adjust volume then launch Spotify for music.
I also updated firmware on both and the Naim app.
Sounds lovely...
Thanks for the offers of help guys, much appreciated.
Merry Christmas to you all.
