Just done o/s/f hub but new bearings seem a bit tight, i.e. hub flange is a fair bit harder to turn than before. I've doubled checked my torque setting (250 ft.lbs) but may have over greased a bit, could this be the cause? Want to make sure I haven't made any silly mistakes before I do the n/s. As always any helpful suggestions much appreciated.

Richard i had the same problem when i did mine. It wont be the grease. If i recall correctly i hadnt pressed home the dust seal all the way and so it was causing some interference when the lot was torqued up.

I know others have done the samecas well. Worth a check.

Thanks Ian, so I assume the fix is to draw the shaft (again) and re-seat the oil/dust seal?

You can uncross your fingers Ian, stripped back down, re-seated, re-assembled & all ok. I suppose I'd originally (wrongly) assumed that torqueing it down would push everything home correctly. Lesson learned & thanks for the pointer.
