Help Needed to Identify a Classic Car

This was posted in the Yank car section without much response, so thought I'd try here too (Mods, please leave it here, thanks).
Hi all,
OK, so I was driving in North Orlando on Sunday and noticed a car at a petrol station. It had the look of a '70's'ish era car and I think it had been fettled with the adjustable suspension that they sometimes do in the US (low-rider, bouncy car type thing). Anyway, the really interesting feature of this car which is why I'm trying to identify it was the rear window. It was 'V' shaped, with the point of the V facing front (and therefore into the cabin). It looked like th point of the V may have had a very small pillar (not thick like a split screen Stingray), maybe just a thin piece of metal to hold the two pieces of glass in place.
I now work with a US guy who's a huge enthusiast (he writes for a car mag in his spare time) and he doesn't know what it could be, so I put it to you, the PH colective to see if you have any ideas.

Hi spookedmoose, just had to Google that. Nope, it wasn't one of those, the 'V' shape is heading forwards, so if looking at the car from plan view, the 'V'is with the point towards the front of the car and the top of the 'V' at each side, at the rear-most pillar.Yep, it has really got me and my colleague stumped, I'm a bit of a spotter with cars (as are most of us I imagine), but I certainly don't know what most cars are, the odd nature of the rear screen is what has really got me wanting to find out what it is, as it's so unusual. We may never know, it may be a completely custom build rear screen, but I'd like to think a manufacturer of the era designed it and produced it as it's so different.
All, thanks for the replies, but we still don't have the right answer. 
The rear screen was similar to the Marcury Breezeway that was posted, but was just two panels forming the 'V' and it wsa much "curvier", more like the car in the last pic, but the screen wasn't curved it was two straight rear screen panels forming the 'V'.
Thanks again, though, keep the idea's coming! If I see it again, I'll be sure to get a pic.

I saw it from a distance so didn't gte to see any badges, it was about 50m away on the other side of the road. Plus, I can draw for the life of me, wouldn' want to ruin your eyes by trying to figure out what the hell it's supposed to be!
