SWMBO has had a bottle from someone at work but I always thought Yellow Label was plonk.

So is this something special, or has it been sat in someone's cupboard for the last decade?

Yep, you're correct, it's plonk no matter how old it is. I'd still drink it provided it hasn't gone off but don't expect it to be anything special.

I'd imagine that is very likely to be vinegar. Give it a good sniff when opened.
