Anyone with photoshop care to help out if poss. Can only offer virtual pints or a donation to your charity of choice.

Daughter has saved for a crested gecko for a while. Just managed to get enough together to buy one so we went on a hunt yesterday and reserved this little critter. All
Based on the assumption of course that Santa brings him a house for Xmas day wink . Just wondering. Can anybody stick a Santa hat on him for me?

Feel free to add any further amusing things as you see fit. But it would be good to get just a decent hat pic and she is only 7 so whilst I will giggle, I cannot use any rude pics.

I hope so too. I've been reading up on it for quite some time so I'm hoping it all goes to plan. Got the large exxo terra crested kit. Dual light canopy to go with. Heat lamp with ceramic heater, dimming thermostat etc. Hydroballs. Earthmix substrate few bits of decor including posable vines and dried grapevine. Repashy and a couple of pots of the sugary stuff. Magnetic Feeder and water bowl for side of tank. A parlour palm and some critters to live in the dirt and hopefully help with the cleaning.

I'm hoping he will be one happy gecko. Always grateful to recieve advice though! Never done reptiles before!

Perhaps a wheelie wheel chair or two as well? Knock yourselves out. The hat pic is plenty good for my needs though. And as there are no better happy to sling a small amount to the charity of Dudleyblokes choice.

That all sounds pretty good....
Try Pangea as feed as a lot of Cresties turn their nose up at Repashy.Get it from http://www.geckodiet.co.uk/
Dont bother with jelly pots - no nutritional value at all.
Small hoppers dusted with vits every couple of days as well.
Id use more live plants than crockery type as well, cresties value their privacy.Pothos is very good and easy to keep.

Yay! Loving the efforts. The caterpillar tracks are good. I'm now thinking Gecko who currently has no name. In various monumentally historical situations? I know I'm pushing it but....

Plus to dudlybloke. Im serious about the small donation. Name your cause?

Great, thanks for that. Can always use advice when it comes to something new. Not heard of the Pangea stuff so will look into that. The shop we have been going to seems pretty cool. They suggested a couple of live bugs to eat once or twice a week and are happy to supply one or two at a time for a small donation in their " looking after the animals" pot. I already have a pot of calcium dust stuff to cover them in. It's a whole new thing though. So fingers crossed the new little un will be happy with us. I do t know who is more worried. Me or my daughter!

As for plants etc my. Way is always to try and be as natural as possible. I would prefer nautur wood and live plants if poss. It I want her to be able to choose some of it herself so am leaving some room for that I hope. Wil happily take advice on other natural, suitable and good looking plants. Also. Moar photoshop!......
