Well Moss classic car parts actually.

http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/

Bought a load of sound and heat insulation for the cabin as I am really going the extra mile to reduce heat and sound in the car.

Saw this in the shop..........

While I have the engine and gearbox out, I will line the underside with some soundproofing that I already have.
I'm going to take out the seats and all the carpeting and line the inside complete with the new products.

Hopefully, this will cut down the heat and noise in the cabin.

This takes me back,,, firstly, the Triumph, loved the vid,
I'm sure you've already bought it now Peter but many moons ago I had a long wheelbase Transit van, Perkins engine but a Zepher diff (apparently) high gearing and cruised at 70 mph although the speedo and engine revs said 56 mph hehe
I digress, it was for my grass bikes, but then I'd hurt myself to much so started playing in a band instead,

I worked for a Tractor company, an Italian one,,, Lamborgini no less,,, hahah, parts department frown
Anyway,

I got some fantastic sound proofing for the van, bang the side of a panel van, boom etc bang the side of my van, just a very quiet thud hehe

Sticking it on the inside of the van was very effective. thumbup

Yes, looking forward to seeing the results. The excessive heat in summer and the excessive noise while cruising speed are two things which really spoil the car.

If these can be addressed it will make the whole package far better then when it came out of the factory!

Couldn't agree more Peter.
I lined my boot with 6mm acoustic foam before putting the carpet back in last week, for this very purpose.
Unfortunately the fuel tank won't fit properly now rantinghehe

Such a ballache fitting the tank and related pipework.

2 bulk packs £129 each from ebay march this year.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DYNAMAT-SUPERLITE-BULK-P...

Now £145 but you may find it cheaper.
