Guys and Gals,

looking for some advice from the PH globetrotters.

My parents are off to Aus for three weeks via a couple of days each in Hong Kong and Singapore.

What currency should they take for use in Hong Kong and Singapore, and in what form: Travellers Cheques, Cash, etc.

Hong Kong = Hong Kong Dollars (approx HKD15=1GBP)

Singapore=Singapore Dollars (approx SGD3=1GBP)

I would take usual mix of cards, cash and TCs.

If they're only going to spend a couple of days in each, they'd be better off just using their ATM cards. Otherwise they'll end up with leftover currency from each stopover.
