Camera for YouTube - which one?
Discussion
My suggestion, don't bother buying a DSLR camera for video recording, go buy yourself a dedicated Camcorder which I think would be more than capable and probably cheaper.
Also, bear in mind that cameras are I believe limited to 30 minute record times due to legal reasons.
Panasonic and Sony make some lovely camcorders which would be more than capable of carrying out the task you require.

I'd say ease of use plays a part and the option for a front facing screen just gives more options such as vlogging and so on.
Really the main thing is that it has decent HD video recording capabilities so I can do some nice interior and exterior cars shots as well as moving shots.
Basically it needs to be a decent all rounder so I have a lot of options with it, I think that's why I'm drawn to the Canon Eos M3 as it's small and light but has a lot of features.

Yeah I wasn't really intending on doing that as I have a Gopro and an SJCAM for inside stuff.
It's a tough choice to be honest as I don't want to spend huge amounts when a lot of popular YouTubers don't but I also want the videos to look somewhat professional.
I guess the EOS M3 is probably the most practical.

If it's any help I have a Sony RX100 M3 which has a tilting screen and does record excellent video and take superb photographs, I also have a Canon 700D which does take reasonably good photographs but I wouldn't recommend it for recording video using the LCD screen because it's so damn clumsy.
I'm pretty sure that Harry Metcalfe of Harry's Garage fame https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIB5XXHNAWWzTOw6g... uses a RX100 to record his video clips for YouTube, though I'm not sure which model he uses.

I mentioned the dedicated camcorder option for recording video because it would probably be the cheaper option compared to the RX100M3/4/5 variants...

RX100 definitely has a screen that goes 180, as like I said it's what the majority of Vloggers use, even ones that are photographers/videographers.
I'd avoid the M3 purely because it doesn't have a fixed lens and the autofocus isn't the best which you'll be heavily relying on.
The reality is at first an iPhone will produce footage that is more than usable especially if it's a 6S or 7, or equivalent.

I video for fun using a G7 and also video my rugby team's matches with two dedicated video cameras, one set on wide angle and the other to zoom in on the action.
There's a remarkable difference between the two when in use. The G7 beats the dedicated cameras for flexibility. The 29 min limit is no problem.
When I go out to the like of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, I take one of the dedicated video cameras as a back up but use the G7 for both video and stills. I often return without using the dedicated video camera.
