Classic Car Advertising Conversions
Discussion
Numerous specials have been built for product advertising over the years, some have survived and make rare appearances at shows or have found homes in motor museums, others will have been lost and indeed the products they were designed to promote are often long gone. There are interesting histories relating to the build, use and ownership of many of these special body classics.

Interesting story re the Star Bug Smart Car.
When the Red Dwarf film was made, it had to be done on a very tight budget. All the add on bits on the car were buckets and odds and sods from the local DIY store. IIRC the total cost was about 2 grand.
After the film the car was auctioned where it made over £100K !!!
