Recommend me a garage in North Glasgow area

Hi all, looking for a recommendation for a garage in the Bishopbriggs area, though anywhere from City North or East Dunbartonshire is fine.

It's nothing fancy, my Mother's Nissan Note has some suspension clunk that needs attention from a decent garage that won't rip her off. - the latter comment based on her last visit to the main dealer, keen to go independent.

Sons Corsa has been in twice with a noise that turned out to be a grommet in an under seat tray

Fixed with no charge and would not even take something for a beer

fastfit / frankfit (could never remember when I lived up there), in East Kilbride. I know that's not north Glasgow, but it's an honest "man plus boy" set up that doesn't rip people off.

Thanks but unfortunately I've had a couple of bad experiences with them in recent years, on both occasions taking the piss with female family members having punctures on perfectly good tyres which they tried to pass off as dangerous and unrepairable - both sorted by the very helpful RD Tyres a bit further down the road!

There's a few garages off Huntershill Rd - one I used to use until recently....that seem busy enough but haven't used or heard any good or bad about, e.g. BMS and Ross Autos?

I've been using Olberj for a few things recently, very reasonable too.

You know I did think of Olie but last time I spoke to him he was busy with things a lot more exotic than a Nissan Note so I thought it may be beneath him

Now I could be totally wrong here, but there is an Abernathy Motors in hunters hill, Bishopbriggs. The workshop foreman years ago at the Nissan garage in Bishopbriggs was Jimmy Abernethy. Could be same chap.....
