Help installing brighter lights kit
Discussion
A few people here have installed this kit from modwise, I'm trying to do the same on my 1994 Chimera 4.0. Unfortunately the instructions differ from the wiring in my car.

This is what I see under the battery:

Can anybody help me on this? I've emailed David Beer, but I don't want to call him and disturb his Sunday. I'd like to get this out of the way today if possible.

You don't need to go near the battery.
What I did on my Chimaera 500 was to take a new power feed from the permamently live terminal on the starter motor (be careful)through the supplied relay and on to what was the original offside light connector power terminal (make it a high capacity cable) . Then the original power feed goes to the relay to switch it on and off.
You just (!) need access to around the starter motor and the offside light connector.
Hope this helps.
