£2000 watch reccomendations
Discussion
I have a budget of £2000 to buy a watch which I intend to keep for ever, as the money is a small inheritance.
I really like the Sinn 556I style but having looked at the rest of the Sinn range they seem to be copying other brand's design which devalues the company in my eyes.
I would like to avoid more high-street brands if possible, so probably not Tag, I really don't like Breitling and would certainly go for a less well known company.
I like this:

But this is a shame:

I'm open to suggestions to a similar style to the 556 and happy to look at good condition used watches.
Thanks,

Of course as the last one demonstrates .... Buy what you want (The one that immediately tugs at you) not what the crowd say's you should

How about something like this from Dominic:

Perhaps too 'mainstream'?

I've got the Tag in the link below and I really like it. Simple and elegant in my opinion

Some good suggestions. Now looking at vintage Omegas! Very nice but maybe a little small. Hackett watches have a nice one in stock which I may go and look at, alternatively this one as suggested above is lovely.

DominicH is a member on here and a pleasure to deal with. Might be worth a PM to him? I thought that first watch that I suggested is slightly unusual which might meet your brief?!https://www.hackettwatches.com/hw/items/PART8V9KWP

Yes, exactly. I must say it's not quite what I would have said I would like, but on reflection the other watches I have (seikos) are black faces sports watches so your idea was well received.Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
