As mentioned in another thread - ebay is a good place for advertising as well as selling. Just put a contact number or email - a few of my friends have sold their cars to people who saw it on ebay, but understandably wanted to do a private deal.

I think the bottom line to selling a second hand car these days really is price. The market is so competitive that a couple of hundred quid overprice can mean the difference between a quick sale and no sale.

Look at the going rate for Eunos/MX5's on www.autotrader.co.uk

Then price yours lower for a quick sale. At the end of the day a car is only worth what one can sell it for - and the longer you keep it the more it costs you. Many people get hung up on getting whatever they percieve is the "full" price or value of their car. They are the people who will wait months to sell.

Forgot to mention - Sunday Evenings are the best time to list for a seven day auction - so that it ends on a Sunday eve.

That way more people are around to bid at the end of the auction and you stand the best chance of getting a good price.

Hope that helps.
