Analogue clock Maserati QP

So after a prolonged non use over the summer (read as 3 weeks) the battery went completely flat.

Charged it up and all good except the analogue clock won't synch with the digital time.

I've tried all the tricks cited on the various Maserati forums without success.

Any ideas the wise of pistonheads (aside from taking it to a main dealer and getting a reset)??

BTW it's a 2011 sport gts model ...

Hold the two interior light buttons on the roof in for 10 to 15 seconds. The interior lights will start to flash. Left button then does hours, right button does minutes.
