It's been a long time since I have been, and I mean a loooooong time.

What's the going rate for a filling and for an extraction please?

I'm in the east midlands.

Ta.

£50ish. I forget the exact number but I had this done recently.

Edit: I meant to say this is obviously for an NHS dentist.

Band 2 NHS charge which covers fillings extractions etc is £53.90. However, if your dentist deems your oral hygiene/diet to be unstable, or you are a high risk patient, you may have to pay £53.90 for extractions and semi-permanent fillings and then another £53.90 three or six months later if and when the oral health stabilises for permanent fillings to be done.
