Reasons to pack my bags and leave the UK

Although I love old blighty dearly it is fast becoming the kind of place don't want to live, and at some point will pack up and go (sorry Mum, just waiting for die so that I won't upset you by leaving). Here are my reasons, what would you add?
The media, and their ego-centric , power without responsibility attitude
The government's insistence in making us poor childless fools work our b******s off to pay for the numerous off-spring of people who want to have it all at my expense
The 'someone must be to blame' culture
The something for nothing culture of 'entitlement'rather than being earned (see also prolific parents above)
The Human Rights Act that stops honest law abiding Britons from being protected and living a quiet life so that the rights of some dangerous nutter are protected (sorry folks the EHCR was never meant to be like this)
The High Streets all look the same
We can now only see the £££ signs, not the quality of life
4 x 4 drivers who feel they have the right to abandon their vehicles anywhere because their time is more important than the people who are inconvenienced
Litter and rubbish, left by people who couldn't give a toss who has to live with or clean it up
People (and lots of them) who think alchohol is an excuse for being a tosser and spoiling the night out for everyone around
The royal family
I am wanted for eating Swan meat

I don't mean to be rude, but this sort of post seems to crop up very often on PH. I moved to England some years ago from a third world country and I promise you, the UK has got a lot of good things going for it. Though migration may genuinely improve your quality of life (and if you believe so then please go for it), I honestly believe that what you take from a country and your happiness is a state of mind of your own making and your own control. Heck, that's why we have a democracy!

They are paid to do a job. They are therefore contracted to do that job to the best of their abilities. It is up to the other side to find a lawyer of similar expertise. Obviously you have been personally involved on a "losing" side.

That's just it! You defend the position of someone just 'doing a job'. Does that sound familiar??
Where is the morality and integrity of these people? I have lawyer friends, for most of whom it is a 'very large game of 'cowboys and indians' regardles of what it does to lives. Never been on the wrong side of a lawyer, probably because I avoid them in anything but a social context.

Been fishing lately? I love Cornwall, but I will leave if they spoil it too much.
In my view, the countryside is beautiful and a thing to be savoured, surely the councils should be there to stop greedy people spoiling it for their own ££££££'s. They seem to be encouraging it which is madness.
I reckon the key is getting out of the rat race and having a more simple life. People emigrate as a sort of step out of themselves. I reckon a lot of the problem lies within their own skull.

Well shirepro it seems their are a lot of us who feel the same,do not juge all 4x4 drivers the same though!! as i need one soon to tow my bloody trailor to spain

as for it was the last straw when my buissniss partner tried to rip me off, why should it f
in cost me money to take him to court and get nowt because he will go bankrupt and start again in a few weeks time 
Think their are a lot of good people who feel the same, the scum factor is out breading the good.

I am inclined to agree.
It is easy to adopt a "grass is greener" perspective when , in reality, it probably is'nt.
Lets consider some of the countries that people tend to leave the UK for....
France. Lovely quality of life, relatively cheap to live. but VERY bureaucratic and the taxes are high. Language barrier too.
Italy, Gorgeous country. Lovely people. Nice weather. But so bureaucratic and disorganised it will make you scream. Lots of jobsworths and bloody minded people who can make your life difficult simply because they can,
Australia. Beautiful country. Terrible government. High minded police. High taxes. Miles from anywhere.
New Zealand - Lovely place. Ticks most of the boxes in fact. But miles from anywhere.
USA. Lovely country - in fact, best assessed as different countries for each region. Some parts I could live in, other parts I would never live in if they paid me. Polarises opinions, some Brits would love it while others would hate it with a passion.
It ain't so easy when you think about it. I've thought about it. A lot. But maybe the Uk ain't so bad.

The average British seems to earns SO MUCH MORE money than the average French. If emigrating British easily find houses in France, it's because the French cannot afford to live in such houses anymore because of the maintenance and the mad taxes in everything. So France may appear a cheap country to live in, but certainly not for the French.
