Cerb @ BCA Edinburgh today
Discussion
Beginning to look at these alongside Tuscan's & T350's and have noticed that a blue Speed ^ is due to go through the auction today.
Does anybody know the car/have any way of finding out what it goes for? - Just wary for when it invariably pops up in the trade....
Also buying a TVR from auction, rational or a huge punt? (I've historically bought a good chunk of my cars from auction)

Looks like you have to register for any possible access to BCA results or live feed and I can't be arsed FWIW. Back on other question though, auctions are fine if you know an absolute ceiling price for a car given all the what-if's and your lucks in, but generally someone takes a punt or it doesn't hit reserve and starts on the merry-go-round again. A Cerb in an auction has probably been round the houses previously with non-specialist indie dealers and/or has a patchy history. If its your only way in due budget constraints and you have deep enough pockets and skills to tackle a project yourself then it may be an option but otherwise best to steer clear, especially with an early Speed 6. There was a light blue Cerb S6 with patchy history knocking round several dealers around my way for ages at unrealistic prices about 18 months ago, wouldn't surprise me if it had made its way up north. If you've got the money for a T350 in today's market I wouldn't be looking at auction Cerbs.
