A very big thank you to all who joined us at Rockingham today.

It was a pleasure to meet you all, and to see so many Nobles brought together at one time at the same venue. The Rockingham guys also told us how impressed they were with the track drivers' general conduct (notwithstanding the hiccups in the first hour or so..).

For the record, we counted 66 Nobles in the lunch-hour photo-shoot - I'm sure we'll receive excellent press from this, so thanks for your cooperation.

As always, we're keen to know what you thought about today's event, so feel free to post comments on this site or e-mail us at the factory.

Roll on October and the next Noble Owners' Day!

Regards,

Lee Noble, Stuart Jones, Simon Hucknall, Bob Sharpe, Simon Bloxham, Dave Baseley, Lee Pocock

Thanks again to you, Lee, Bob, Stuart, everyone else at Noble and for all the owners for making it such a great day!

I had a really great day, although I and a few others I spoke to think the in-field circuit is more challenging and more fun than the International Circuit, those banks are not that exciting to drive!

Plus points: Meeting old friends and making new ones. Seeing all the little personal touches people have put to their Nobles. Passenger lap and chatting with Chris Harris, nice bloke. Watching Lee look very uncomfortable having his picture taken in front of all the cars. Getting to see infamous Spanish M12 in the flesh. And of course driving the circuit!

Minus points: The delay in starting. The muppets that kept spinning off in the early sessions. The food wagon could have been better, think a pack lunch would be better next time! The weather, I'd like more sun next time.

All in all a top day!

Big thanks to everyone @ Noble for a great day.

Given the lack of cars out on track after things settled down, I'm sure we would have been OK with just the infield despite the number of cars! Today was the first 'free run' in the M400 in the dry, and I had an absolutly hoot.

Thanks must go to Bob and his crew (Dave?) who kept me going during the day. Simon - I can't possibly think how to make it better apart from getting the sun to come out!

The only thing was a few drivers obviously didn't know where their mirrors were, but given the number of straight bits it wasn't soon until you were able to get past them.

Finally, thanks must again go to Lee whom without we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day in one of the finest road/track cars that must have ever been made.

Sounds like you all had a fab time.
But why though does everything have to happen on the same day?
VmaxVII/Noble owners club day/Liverpool vs Everton?

Fantastic day. Weather forecasters didn't get it quite right, but that did not dampen a well organised day.

I wasn't too sure about the International circuit before arriving and looking at it during the briefing, but you know, I really liked it. It gave you a lot more space on the circuit without too much bunching up. (I agree with Justin re: mirrors). OK the banked section was not the most challenging but required respect, and very soon you were back on the infield section. I thought it gave a good contrast of technical and fast sweepng corners.

Great to meet old friends and make some new ones.

Big thanks to the great Noble Team, and would also like to thank the Tea Boy for producing such an awesome car.

Cheers,
Ian.

Nice to see everyone, especially in my rear view mirror arf arf.

I would say next time we could do with some decent catering - dunno why the main cafe wasn't open, they have some nice greasy spoon food. The burger van ran out far too quickly.

I also think National is much more fun than International - the oval is a bit boring if you ask me.

Paul C, what the heck is with your car backfires? Sounded like fireworks.

Paul doesn't have any cats

Good to catch up with old friends from here

Martin was sideways everywhere, Justin clearly loves the chicane between the banked bits and dan's stripes are worth an extra 50bhp

The main bit is rather a 'leg' to get to, so AFAIK it seemed sensible to have a van over in the pits. Why the frigging hell they didn't put it *in* the pits I have no idea though!

I didn't notice them running out of food?

Ah, but remember remember that means you have more gravel traps to fall into , although as I said I like the national circuit better.

It has no cats and is just two straight through pipes. Consequently if you hit the limiter or get off the gas quickly then excess fuel just goes straight into the rear box and ignites there.

We really felt Paul had blown his engine when all we could hear was the bang, bang, bang, bang about 50 times along the bank, but apparently it turned out to be Paul driving against the limiter.

Very good fun, and I hope I've got some shots of the flames on the video!

Me? Moi?

I wasn't 100% sure about the stripes, but on the way up I caught up with Dan from the rear and they did look rather nice. Certainly got the car noticed, even an old biddy walking her dog stopped and stared at his car

Thanks to everyone at Noble for making this day possible.

It was my first track day ever and what a car to do it in !

I think I spotted a few from Pistonheads - was hard to miss Martin !

Can't really complain about anything from the day although the burger van was awful.

Thanks to Vengatune for sorting out a little problem with my idle speed. I think my car got stage fright on the very first lap

Tuition was great and opened my eyes up. Roll on October.

Thanks very much to all at the factory. A very good day.

Sure the weather could have been kinder and the burger van was a bit of a let down, but other than that a very good day and great to see so many cars.

I like the International circuit, although first track day in the Noble so was being a bit of a wimp on and off of the corner on to the start finish!

I loved the chicane off of the start and the infield section. Chris Harris was fascinating to listen to and obviosuly a fan of Noble.

Roll on the next one!

Thanks to the guys at Noble for making this possible.

Good day all round.

Thankfully the Enviromental Health Officer did not show his face to check on the catering!

I had a good time and enjoyed the track. I'm still learning the cars & my own limits, and my lines were all off but I actually liked having the banking there. Its a nice contrast and is part of what makes the circuit unique.

On that note, it would have been nice to have more instruction available as I could definitely have benefitted from an instructor to show me the lines, but they were fully booked, even several days before the event.

Could also have done with a better lunchtime option, and yes they ran out, although poetically they ran out on Micknall so I suspect the factory will have taken that on board

Overall I had a great time and it was nice to see/meet so many people. Nathan, I still can't work out how you fitted in a noble!

The stripes certainly served me well, as most of PH came up and introduced themselves as a result!

Fantastic day.

I think I had the car out 6 times on the track and covered exactly 100 miles. Car was faultless.

Just great fun.

Seeing a car lose it and spin off right in front of me was a new experience, sorry if I was pushing you a bit hard there.
Anyway, next time round the car was no longer there, so all was obviously ok.

Thanks to all involved.

Roll on the next one!

Chris.

Hey, I didn`t think that old M400 could go so quick with two heavyweights up front, so I guess it was something to do with the driver! Thanks Justin for the passenger ride, it was great fun, and for what it`s worth, you can pedal better than Moley ! Thanks once again.........Junior Mole
