My latest information is that there will be two versions. 1. Manual gearbox with no rear wing as per the 911R to placate the purists. 2. PDK and rear wing for ultimate speed and track leanings. Car will appear on the Porsche Configurator in February with the model announcement taking place at the Geneva Motor Show. All just rumour though my source is very reliable.

The Gen 2 will be PDK only.

Says who? Isn't the general consensus as above that they'll be offering bother versions or are you referring to a PDK GT3 with wing and a Manual T or S for example without aero?

The Gen 2 GT3 will be PDK only, no option offered as i've said. Other models will have the option.
