S1 Clutch Hydraulics
Discussion
Just suffered the classic sticking clutch slave problem.
No problem, says I, one Land Rover slave cylinder and the job's done..... Beware....hydraulic threads are now supplied metric. Not a problem really, what I did in the end was buy a new master cylinder, hose and slave.... it makes the job easier.
I thought I would pass on this warning to save you 3 visits to the suppliers and 3 'it will only take a few days mate..come back during the day' (as if we didn't have to go to work).
Three weekends later she is back on the road, SMOOTH CLUTH ACTION...SWEET AS>>>>
