My other half bought me a 1080p ApeMan action camera for Christmas.

So got it strapped to the car and tested out.

The kit didn't have a mount large enough for the roll bar on day one, so I tried mounting it behind windscreen, not too bad but quite shakey and a little unclear IMHO.

Managed to botch up a rollbar mount, but the hard metal to plastic contact means a lot of diff noise comes through. Will get the proper mount and isolate the clamp from the camera with a little neoprene. Hopefully that'll do the trick.

You managed to keep it a lot straighter than I did when I went out. Suffice to say I didn't find much grip and thought I had become Scandanavian judging by the amount of opposite lock required !!!

Happy New Year.....

Thanks smile

There were a couple of unfilmed moments and one overtake where I had to back off the power on wrong side of road.

Sadly the yoko a539's on mine are not great on cold greasy roads. I've only had the car out alone on an A road twice since I bought it, so still not brave enough to give it beans.

Not many tyres do grip on cold, greasy roads especially in a Caterham. I do believe that is part of the fun of these fantastic little cars.

Dunno! I drove a 420R on ZZS for a few hundred miles including through snow and they were excellent! Better than my tyres by a long shot

I'll ultimately replace my a539 with ZZS I think

ZZS - good choice. They will be my next set of tyres too.

They are almost as good as ZZR on track, but better road tyres. Seem to last forever too!
